Pool Guard Advanced is the ANALYSIS VITA’s modern proposal for universal water disinfection applications (swimming pools, hot water networks, etc.). Pool Guard Advanced can be used with all modern water disinfection solutions (free chlorine of any origin, ozone or chlorine dioxide) so we can choose the right method according to our needs or change the method without having to change the equipment.
Measurement of the disinfectant content is done with a three-conductor potentiostatic sensor with platinum electrodes. This method gives great measurement stability near zero, ideal for free chlorine measurements in drinking water. Also, maintenance of this type of electrode is much easier (no membrane and electrolyte need replacing), and no complex automatic electrode cleaning facilities are required. A simple cleaning of the electrode with a soft cloth is enough!
At the same time, Pool Guard Advanced:
- Checks the pH value and adjusts it appropriately through the corresponding dispensing pump so that the disinfectant works as efficiently as possible.
- Checks the Redox value of the sample through an electrode to confirm the disinfection capacity of the water.
At the same time Pool Guard Advanced controls the dosage of flocculant and algaecide. The Pool Guard Advanced programming and configuration process is very simple. The color touch screen 3.5’’ and the Greek setup menu make the device user-friendly. The Pool Guard Advanced module supports all modern communication protocols. Particular emphasis has been placed on the possibilities for remote control and notification. It can be connected to BMS via Ethernet Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, PROFIBUS, RS485, RS232 and cold contacts.
Through special applications, you can notify and program Pool Guard Advanced remotely from a PC, smartphone or tablet and download the history file from the device’s memory to your device, to save it or edit it further. Data capture is stored in Pool Guard Advanced memory and can be held there for even one year when the system is down. It has 999 memory locations. Each memory location records the value of the disinfectant, temperature, PH, Redox, and the date and time of the measurement.
The interval between the two measurements is adjustable by the user. At the same time, in a separate memory, a record is maintained during operation with all the excesses of the set points and all alarms that may arise. The Pool Guard Advanced is compatible with all modern market metering systems, either the application requires simple on-off metering or high precision dosing via a PID loop (dosing pumps, salt electrolytes, lozenges, chlorine dioxide Etc).
